When an industry is broken, innovation in leadership isn’t just a benefit. It’s integral. Over the decades that Harout Keuroghlian spent rising through some of the country’s top real estate firms, he saw the best of the best and still recognized there was a better way to conduct real estate transactions. All too often, clients were relying on agents who could allegedly “do it all”. But the ideal agent was never meant to be a jack of all trades. Time and time again, Harout watched this grave miscalculation lead to suffering clients with agents who understandably lacked focus, experience, and resources. But what if an agent was supported by a team of experts so they could instead focus solely on their clients’ needs? Never one to settle for the status quo, Harout’s mission to redefine the real estate industry couldn’t have been clearer.
Supported by a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Southern California, Harout initially used his love of form and function to help his clients. But early on in his real estate career, he began to understand how empathy could be used to get right to the core of a client’s unique needs and wants in a single conversation. By actively listening to his clients, Harout provided sterling service to thousands of buyers and sellers, creatively orchestrating paths to their loftiest goals. But he also recognized that he couldn’t change the industry as a single agent. Thus he started JohnHart Real Estate, a brokerage that matched his passion for innovation and creative solutions. As the CEO, founder, broker, and owner of JohnHart, Harout pioneered a hyper-supportive environment utilizing expert staff, a customized CRM platform, and hands-on coaching to provide agents with much-needed time and focus that consistently elevated them to double-digit transaction years.
Amassing over 475 agents as of 2023, JohnHart continues to serve the community with a diverse roster of agents while emphasizing a client-first approach that prioritizes the overall experience of the transaction. But Harout is still getting started. In his commitment to improve the real estate client’s experience, he’s founded One Key Escrow to iron out the escrow process, Golden Coast Finance to provide the convenience of in-house financing options, JohnHart Commercial Real Estate to confidently guide commercial investment, and Eqwitek to further innovate the agent-client relationship.
